   Robert C. Irwin, 83, Indian Lake Borough, passed away on March 1, 2007, at UPMC St.
  Margaret Hospital, Pittsburgh. Born on Jan. 31, 1924, in Conemaugh. Son of Joseph Francis
  and Myrtle May (Lint) Irwin. Preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Joseph.
  Survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Marion (Meyers) Irwin; children, Cheryl Ann,
  wife, of Robert Webb, Pittsburgh; and Richard Carl, married to the former Miriam Luhanik,
  Somerset; grandchildren, Daniel James Webb, Michael Patrick Webb, married to the former
  Meredith Pieper, and Stephen Matthew Webb, Patrick John Irwin, Anna Catherine Irwin and
  Christopher Paul Irwin and numerous nieces and nephews. Robert is a U.S. Navy Veteran
  serving during World War II. Dr. Irwin retired from the practice of optometry in
  Connellsville and was former owner of Keller-Irwin Optical Lab, Johnstown. Robert was a
  member of Indian Lake Golf Club for many years. He will be remembered as a kind and
  loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. Friends will be received from 3 to 7
  p.m. Sunday at the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, where vigil for the
  deceased will be held in the evening. Friends and family will gather 9:45 a.m. Monday for
  a funeral Mass, which will begin 10 a.m. at Our Lady Queen of Angels Chapel, 162 Wheeler
  St., Central City. The Rev. Joseph Maurizio, pastor. Committal will be held at Richland
  Mausoleum.
