  MRS. RUTH H. IRWIN
  
  Mrs. Ruth H. Irwin, 81, of Meyersdale RD 3, died Jan. 25 in Meyersdale
  Community Hospital.
  She was born July 12, 1895 on Meyersdale RD 3, a daughter of the late Albert
  and Mary (Siehl) Herring and was preceded in death by two sons: Jack and Kenneth.
  She is survived by these children: James, Philadelphia; William, Meyersdale;
  and Mrs. Thelma Bittner, Meyersdale RD 4; 10 grandchildren and eight great
  grandchildren.
  She was a sister of: Roy (Shad) Herring of Grantsville; Lee and Ralph
  Herring, both of Meyersdale; and Miss Maude Herring, Meyersdale RD 3.
  She was a member of United Methodist Church, Meyersdale, the United Methodist
  Women, the Golden Age, and the War Mothers.
  Services were conducted Jan. 29 at the Price Funeral Home.
