Isaacson, 90, Bedford, died March 28, 2005, at Hollidaysburg VA Home. He was born Dec. 20, 1914, in Brooklyn, N.Y., a son of the late Simon and Molly (Cohen) Isaacson. Also preceded in death by son, James Reed Young Isaacson and three brothers, Charles, Leo and Carl and sister, Jaye. On Oct. 30, 1943, he married Cora Young, who survives and is residing at Donahoe Manor. Also survived by son, Judge Rodger J. Isaacson and wife, Cheryl, Klamath Falls, Ore., and four grandchildren, Molly, Peter, Matthew and Steven. He was a member of St. James Episcopal Church where he served as a choir member and secretary of the Vestry. He was a member of both Meyersdale and Bedford Rotary clubs and the Meyersdale American Legion. He was a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Dentistry Class of 1945 and a member of OKU honorary society. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He went in as a dentist and served in Germany. He spent most of his career practicing dentistry in Meyersdale and later specialized in orthodontics, serving patients in Meyersdale and Bedford. He then retired in 1982 and moved to Orchard Heights in Bedford. Friends received from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home, Bedford. A funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday at the St. James Episcopal Church in Bedford. The Rev. Philip Houghton officiating. Burial in Bedford Cemetery.
