Ishman 76, 501 Graham Ave., Windber, died Jan. 4, 1980, in Florida, where she and her husband maintained a winter residence. She was born Jan. 25, 1903, in Meyersdale, daughter of John and Bertha (Leighty) Miller. She was preceded in death by parents, and sister, Mrs. Ada Grabiak. She is survived by husband, Irvin W., and these children: John C., married to former Patsy Shaw, Saginaw, Mich.; William I. married to former Magdeline Askey, Windber; Barbara, wife of David Hackett, Orlando, Fla.; Ronald, married to former Catherine Knecht, Sykesville, Md.; and Mrs. Lois Statler, Windber. She was past grand chief of Pythian Sisters of Pennsylvania, and past chief of Lincoln Temple 70, Pythian Sisters of Windber. Life member of auxiliary to Windber Volunteer Fire Company, where she served as president, and also served as secretary for 26 years.
