Born March 13, 1922 in West Virginia, son of Mr. and Mrs. Toy Jackson. Preceded in death by parents, wife, the former Nancy Bohannan, and brothers, Frank, Robert, James and Roy. Survived by a son, Kenneth and wife Peggy; brothers, Jerry, David and William Jackson; and sisters, Rubye Kosko, Lucille Beard, Dororthy Bass, Elva Lynn Cartwright, Carol Stanley, Bertha Rogers and Ava Marsh. World War II Army veteran. Retired Charter pilot. Member of Unity United Church of Christ where he was a former Deacon and Elder. Former member of Somerset Aero Club and Somerset V.F.W. Former flight instructor and he was part of the Honor Guard that accompanied President Roosevelt to his grave. Viewing from 11 a.m. until service at 12 noon Thursday at Unity United church of Christ, Shanksville. Rev. Jay E. Shaffer officiating. Interment, Glade Cemetery.
