Born March 22, 1910 in Lonaconing, Md. Son of the late John and Melissa Pearl (Martin) Jackson. Preceded in death by his first wife, Eva Mae (Yutzy) Jackson who died May 18, 1962. Jackson was a custodian for Boardman, Ohio, Member of the Old Furnace Church of the Brethren, Ridgeley, W.Va. and American Association of Retired People. Survivors are his wife, Kathryn S. Jackson; three sons, Glenn Jackson and wife, Beverly, Austintown, Ohio; Dalton Jackson and wife, Shirley, New Waterford, Ohio; James Jackson and wife Nancy, Columbiana, Ohio; one daughter, Mary Alice Mankamyer and husband Clay, Somerset; three borthers: Lawrence Jackson, Meyersdale; Cecil Jackson, Meyersdale; John Jackson, Friedens; three step-children: David Sutton and wife, Marion, Ridgeley, W.Va.; Betty Spiggle and husband, Dr. Wayne, Keyser; William Sutton and wife, Barbara, Dayton, Ohio; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 13 step grandchildren and 9 step-great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at Scarpelli Funeral Home, Cresaptown, Md. on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Services will be conducted at Scarpelli Funeral Home, Cresaptown, Md. on Monday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Calvin Roop and Rev. Paul Heisey officiating. Interment will be in Hostetler Church Cemetery, Pocohontas. Daily American, December 11, 1993 [J0013]
