  JOHN E. JACKSON
  
  John E. Jackson, 85, of Meyersdale RD 4, died June 15, 1973, in Meyersdale
  Community Hospital.  Born July 9, 1887 in Lonaconing, Md., he was a son of
  the late Ulysses and Susan (Beeman) Jackson.   Surviving are his wife, the
  former M. Pearl Martin; four sons, James Jackson, Jackson, Ky.; Lawrence
  and Cecil Jackson, Meyersdale RD 3; and John Jackson Jr., Columbiana, Ohio:
  10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and a brother, William Jackson,
  Frostburg.  Funeral service was held Monday afternoon in Hostetler Church of
  the Brethren with Rev. Raymond Mankamyer officiating.  Interment in Union
  Cemetery, Meyersdale.
