Jackson, 91, of Meyersdale (Larimer Twp.), died December 19, 2006 at his home. He was born April 25, 1915 in Meyersdale, a son of the late John E. and Melissa Peral (Martin) Jackson. Also preceded in death by his wife, the former Velma S. Steinly; infant daughter Lois; and a brother James. He is survived by two children: Marion, wife of David Sutton, Ridgeley, W.Va.; and David L. Jackson, and his wife Linda, Meyersdale. Also six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Lawrence was an area dairy farmer for 39 years. Friends were received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale. Service was conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday at the Hostetler Church of the Brethren, with the Rev. Arlen Longanecker officiating. Interment Meyersdale Area Union Cemetery. Arrangements by the William Rowe Price Funeral Home, Inc., Meyersdale.
