JOHN L. JAMES

  Mr. and Mrs. N. N. Cupp, of Somerset, received word Monday, of the death of 
their son-in-law, John L. James, at Camp Claiborne, Louisiana.  Mr. James died 
of a heart attack as he was being taken to a hospital.
  His wife, Mrs. Elizabeth Cupp James, a sister of Mrs. William S. Livengood, 
Jr., survives, also a daughter and an aunt living in Pittsburgh.  Mr. James was 
in the engineering corps of the U.S. Army at Camp Claiborne.
