  Mary K. James, 89, Somerset, died Nov. 15, 1998, at Siemon's Lakeview Manor
  Estate.  Born Aug. 10, 1909, in Somerset, daughter of the late Milton M. and
  Sadie (Mognet) Knepper.  Also preceded in death by her husband, William C.
  James; a brother, George Knepper, and three sisters: Elda Shaffer, Bessie
  Watson and Minnie Spencer.  Survived by children: Mrs. Wilson (Mary Ann)
  Sorber, Somerset; and Milton James, married to the former Connie Nicol,
  Fontana, Calif.; four grandchildren: Shawn, John William and Todd James and
  Stacy Sorber; also seven great-grandchildren.  Member of the Calvary United
  Methodist Church and the Somerset County Saddle Club.  She was an avid lover
  of the Somerset County Fair and her horses and dogs.  Friends will be
  received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday at the Robert H. Halverson Funeral
  Home, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, with the Rev. Raymond
  E. Lyon officiating.  Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park.
