  ROBERT D. JAMES
  
  Robert D. James, 89, formerly of Meyersdale and Salisbury, died Monday,
  April 20, 1987, in Allentown Hospital.  He was born Feb. 7, 189 in Summit
  Township, a son of William A. and Amanda (Gray) James.  He was preceded in
  death by his wife, Margaret (Lindeman) James.  He was survived by a
  daughter, Mrs. Verna Klingaman, of Allentown.   He retired in 1957 from the
  Atlantic Refining Company; served as Past Master of Meyersdale Masonic
  Lodge No. 554 in 1935 and 1945; served on the Meyerdale United Church of
  Christ.  Friends will be received at Leckemby Funeral Home, Meyersdale,
  Thursday, 7 to 9 p.m. Masonic service at 8 p.m. Masonic services will be
  held Friday at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Carl P. Mitchell
  officiating.  Interment, Union Cemetery.
