He was born Sept. 29, 1919 in Boswell to the late Walter and Catherine Marciewez Janusz and lived in Springdale are the past 57 years. Preceded in death by parents, a brother Joseph Janusz and three sisters, Catherine Ryniak, Gladys Zabowski and Mary Zweis. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Mary Francus Janusz, a son Daniel Janusz of Springdale, two daughters, Diane Mast of New Kensington, and Donna Graham of Elderton, four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Also a sister Frances Stopera of Detriot, Mich. He formerly was employed as a mechanic at the Duquense Light Power Station in Cheswick and was a member of St. Mary's RC Church in New Kensington. Mr. Janusz was a life member of the Springdale Volunteer Fire Department and was an advid fisherman. Visitation was held at the Charles B. Jarvic Funeral Home in Springdale and a Christian funeral mass was celebrated in St. Mary's Church. Interment, St. Mary's Cemetery, Lower Burrell. A firemen's service was held Saturday.
