Jarosick, 72, of 231 Susquehanna St. Boswell, died April 27, 1996, at Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown. Born Nov. 9, 1923, in Johnstown son of Anthony and Caoline (Kopeck) Jarosick. Preceded in death by parents and brothers, Andrew, Joseph, Stanley, John, Theodore and Frank. Survived by wife, the former Elizabeth Crusco; son, Thomas; brother, Walter; sister-in-law, Martha Jarosick, all at home, and special former daughter-in-law, Adrienne Jarosick. Also survived by these other sisters and brothers: Mary Troyan, Johnstown; Jennie Kozosky, Quecreek; Charles, Stow, Ohio; Martin, Mauldin, S.C., and Edward, Hanover. And numberous other in-laws, nieces and nephews. Members of All Saints Catholic Parish, St. Stanislaus Church Choir for more then 25 years; Hooversville Post 7565, VFW; Somerset County Oldtimers Baseball Association; Jenner Rod and Gun Club; National Association of Letter Carriers and Boswell Post 461, Americna Legion, for more than 50 years, where he served in every office, including adjutant and secretary for more than 32 years. Former Somerset County baseball umpire. Observed 46th wedding anniversay April 15, 1996. Served many years as fundraising chairman for Boswell American Legion baseball teams, North Star Improvement Association, and numerous church picnics. Marine Corps veteran of World War II. Retired employee of U.S. Postal Service with 36 years service. Friends receieved from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and Tuesday at Hoffman Funeral Home, Main Street, Boswell, where wake services will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday. Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Stanislaus Church, the Rev. Father Blase Wegierski, O.F.M. cov. celebrant. Interment, Mount Carmel Cemetery, Jenner Crossroads.
