"Pip" Jarosick, 69, Susquehanna Street, Boswell, D.O.A. April 30, 1998 at Bedford Hospital. Born Oct. 31, 1928, in Boswell, son of Anthony and Caroline (Kopeck) Jarosick. Preceded in death by parents, and brothers: Andrew, Joseph, Stanley, John, Theodore, Frank and Anthony. Survived by sisters and brothers: Mary Troyan, Johnstown; Jennie Kozlosky, Quecreek; Chalres, Stow, Ohio; Martin, Mauldin, S.C.; Edward, Hanover. Also numerous in-laws, nieces and nephews. Member of All Saints Catholic Parish, Boswell Post 461, American Legion; Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 587; Hooversivlle Post 7565, VFW. Retired in 1967 for the U.S. Army as a master sergeant. He served in the Korean and Vietnam wars where he earned two Bronze Star medals. He was a volunteer assistant wrestling coach for North Star High School for over 30 years. He was the recipient of the Joseph H. Hoffman Memorial Award presented for outstanding and unselfish contributions to many varied sports and civic programs. Friends received from 7-9 p.m. Saturday and noon to 4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Sunday at Hoffman Funeral Home, Main Street, Boswell, where wake service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Sunday. Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Monday at All Saints Church, Boswell, with the Rev. Father Martin Breski O.F.M. Conv. officiating. Interment, Mount Carmel Cemetery.
