  JARVIS
  
  Rose M. Jarvis, 87, Rockwood RD 1, died March 17, 1985, in Somerset
  Community Hospital.  Born Jan. 7, 1898, in Indiana County, a daughter of
  the late Edward and Mary (Johns) Stiffey.  Preceded in death by parents,
  five brothers and three sisters.  Survived by two foster daughters: Mrs.
  Betty Walters, Somerset RD 5; and Dolly Miller, Friedens RD 1; 12
  granchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and  a number of nieces and
  nephews.  Friends will be received 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today (Tuesday) at
  Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home, where service will be counducted
  Wednesday, 10 a.m., the Rev. David N. Lykens.  Interment, Husband Cemetery.
