Born Sept. 4, 1912, in Addison, a son of the late Albert Clarence and Maud Mervin (Hardy) Jeffreys. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Wilma June (Holliday) Jeffreys; brothers, Paul, Harry and John; and sisters, Pauline Yoder, Mae Turney and Bessie J. Williams. He is survived by a son, Rick T. Jeffreys, and wife, Mary, Addison; daughter, Janet M. Nolf and husband, Bill, Confluence; grandchildren, Teresa L. Nolf, Kimberly A. Nolf, William R. Nolf II, Ryan T. Jeffreys and Jecelyn M. McClintock; great-grandchildren, Sadie Riskus, Calden and Gavin Nolf, Ursa Spear and Jocelyn Jeffreys; and a sister, Mary Brown Prye, Brookville. Mr. Jeffreys was a self employed plumber and electrician. He participated in Addison Apparitions in 2004 and loved reciting poetry, playing the violin and telling great stories. He will always be remembered and greatly missed. Friends will be received 2 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at and 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., the hour of service, Thursday at the Humbert Funeral Home, Confluence.
