JENKINS Garrett County, Maryland Mrs. Ethel M. Jenkins, wife of Lloyd C. Jenkins, Friendsville, died at the Memorial Hospital, Cumberland, at 4:15 o'clock Friday afternoon, June 20, after an illness of about eight weeks. She had been a patient at the hospital for seven weeks. Mrs. Jenkins was born at Cove, July 1, 1902, and was 39 years of age. She was a daughter of A. A. Glass, near Accident, and the late Mrs. Glass. On May 14, 1923, she was married to Lloyd C. Jenkins, and for some time they have resided in the Friendsville section. For a number of years she had been a faithful and devout member of the Grace Lutheran Church at Friendsville. Surviving are her husband, her father, two daughters, Alverta Lorraine, 14, and Nina Maye, 11; one sister, Mrs. Nellie Hutzel, Zanesville, Ohio; five brothers, Ernest and Olen Glass, Accident; Francis Glass, Westernport; Henry and Carl Glass, Cove. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon, June 23, from the Lutheran church at Friendsville, with the Rev. L. A. Wagner officiating. Interment was in the Accident cemetery, under the supervision of William Winterberg, local mortician. Meyersdale Republican, June 26, 1941
