  William A. Jenkins, 64, of Carlise, Pa. died April 29, 1981, in Holy Spirit
  Hospital, Camp Hill, Pa.  Born Aug. 18, 1916, in Midland, Md., son of the
  late Arthur and Lydia (Martin) Jenkins.  Preceded in death by parents, two
  brothers and one sister.  Survived by his wife, the former Evelyn N. Smith;
  and one daughter, Mrs. Richard (Jerri) Jones of Carlisle; two grandsons; and
  two sisters, Mrs. Ethel Beck, Frostburg, Md.; and Mrs. Della Devore,
  Carlisle.  Friends received after 7 p.m. Thursday at Richard E. Hauger
  Funeral Home.  Funeral services Saturday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home
  with the Rev. H. James Meyers officiating. Interment, Somerset County
  Memorial Park.
