Born Jan. 1, 1920 in Johnstown. He was the son of Leora (Jennings) Frederick. He was preceded in death by his mother and one sister. He was survived by wife of 59 years, the former Helen Pipta, daughter Darlene Sieling of Somerset Pike, two grandchildren Sunday and Chantel, and two great-grandchildren September and Jordyn. He was a retired navy veteran of World War II and served in the Pacific and African territories and he is also retired from the Bethlehem Steel Corp. By Clyde's request, there will be no viewing or receiving of friends. Cremated remains will be scattered at sea and arrangements will be organized by George E. Mason Funeral Home Inc., Davidsville.
