JENNINGS Mr. and Mrs. Fred Livengood have received word of the death of Mr. William A. Jennings, 62, who spent many summers vacationing in this community. Mr. Jennings died February 22, at Connellsville State Hospital where he had been taken less than 12 hours before. Pneumonia was given as the cause of his death. Mr. Jennings was a lifelong resident of Connellsville. He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Harry Jennings. He joined the service of the West Penn Power Company in December, 1911, and remained in its employ until his death, at which time he was assistant district manager of the company for the Connellsville district. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Margaret M. Anderson Jennings, and one sister, Mrs. Clayton Campbell, Connellsville. Mr. Jennings was a member of the First Christian Church and the West Penn Veterans Association. The funeral service was held at the home on Thursday afternoon in charge of Rev. Merrill L. Cadwell, pastor of the First Christian Church, assisted by Rev. C. George Shupe. Mr. Jennings was buried in Green Ridge Memorial Park. Meyersdale Republican, March 4, 1943
