Jensen, 67, White Star Way, Jennerstown, died Feb. 25, 1998 at Somerset Hospital. Born March 12, 1930, in Neenah, Wis., son of the late John and Helen (Iversen) Jensen. Survived by wife, the former Shirley Jevne, Children: James Dennis Jensen and wife, Dawn, Upper St. Clair, Pittsburgh; Karrie Ann, wife of Garry Ringelstetter, Arena, Wis.; John Franz Jensen and wife, Linda, Havre de Grace, Md.; Kathryn Helen King, Pittsburgh; Rebecca Angeline, wife of Michael Hanley, McMurray, Pa.; and Robert King Jensen, Daytona Beach, Fla.; and 11 grandchildren. Also survived by sisters: Anne Zoelk and Margaret Areneman, both of Neenah, Wisc. member of: Laurel Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Jennerstown, and the Jenner Area Joint Sewer Authority. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict and served in the Army Reserves for 18 years, retiring as a major. Observed 44th wedding Anniversary April 19, 1997. 1948 graduate of Neenah High School and 1953 graduate of the University of Wisconsin, with a bachelor of science degree in chemical engineering. 1961 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, with a master's degree in business adminisration and a 1965 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, with a doctor of philosophy degree in business administration. Retired employee of Westinghouse Corp. with 30 years of service. Business manager for the North Star School System since 1989. Friends received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday at Hoffman Funeral Home, Main Street, Boswell. Viewing also from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Saturday at Laurel Trinity Church, with the Rev. Edward N. Corneilson officiating. Interment, Christ Casebeer Cemetery. Graveside military rite in charge of Menoher Post 155 V.F.W. ritual team. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Dr. James Jensen Scholoarship Fund, care of the North Star Administration Building, 1200 Morris Avenue, Boswell, Pa. 15531.
