Born Nov. 18, 1916 in Wilbur, he was the son of Jule and Nora (Kilgore) Jerin. Preceded in death by his parents, wife Audrey, and sisters Cleta Kotellis, Eura Sechler, and Dora Boyer. Survived by these children, Gary, married to the former Donna DeVan, Stoystown; Donna Muro and companion George Harbaugh, Lambertsville; Terry married to the former Joyce Judy, Salisbury; Eva Jerin, Stoystown; stepson Terry Paxton and wife Mary Ann, Boswell; 19 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, brother Arthur and wife Peggy, Hooversville, and a sister, Flora Ziner, Pittsburgh. He was a coal miner for the former Barnes & Tucker Coal Co. Member of the Stoystown American Legion, Hooversville VFW, and Jenner Rod & Gun Club. He was an avid fisherman. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown, where a service will be held 2 p.m. Friday with Rev. Ralph G. Landis officiating.
