Born June 30, 1918, in Clymer, daughter of John and Anna (Skurla) Vidischak. Preceded in death by parents and two sisters. Survived by husband, Peter, and these stepchildren: Mary Allice, wife of Gerald Shaffer, Georgia; Richard, married to the former Durelles Meyers, Stoystown: Raymond, married to the former Nancy Shaffer of Middletown, and James, married to the former Faye Replogle, Johnstown; grandchildren: Jeryl Sue Smith, Mark and Kevin Shaffer, Debra Koch, Richard Jr., Raymond and Jennifer Jock, and four great-grandchildren. Sister of John, Michael, George, Margaret Starinsky, Pauline, wife of Steve Polesky; Irene Wilburn, Dorothea Meyers and Theresa Barge. Also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Retired seamstress for Dorfman and HOffman Company. Friends will be received from 1 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Mulcahy Funeral Home, Central City, where brief services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, followed at 10 a.m. by Divine Liturgy at Sts. Peter and Paul Orthodox Greek Catholic Church, Central City, the Rev. Miles Zdinak officiating. Interment, parish cemetery. Parastas will be sung at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
