Johns, 80, died November 14, 1984, at Frostburg Community Hospital, Maryland. Born in Wellersburg, he was a son of the late Joseph Johns and Nellie (Preston) Johns. He was the proprietor of Maple Inn, Inc., in Barrelville. He was an Army veteran of World War II and was a member of Farrady Post 24, American Legion, Frostburg; Cumberland Lodge 271, Loyal Order of Moose; the Barrelville Outdoor Club and the Kenells Mills Sportsmen's Club. His wife, the former Maunetia Sutherlen, died Oct. 15, 1982. Surviving are three brothers, Charles Johns, Barrelville; Victor Johns, Baltimore; Arthur Johns, Honolulu, Hawaii; four sisters, Mrs. Ada Bowers, Herndon, Va.; Mrs. Lillie Porter; Mount Savage, Maryland; Mrs. Erma Glass and Mrs. Gloria Lease, both of Barrelville, Maryland and numberous nieces and nephews.
