    JOHNSON
  
    Bessie E. Johnson, 80, of Somerset died Dec. 2, 1999, at Somerset
  Hospital.  Born Feb. 16, 1919, in Mcdonaldton, she was the daughter of the
  late Benjamin and Bessie Belle Oakman.  Also preceded in death by husband,
  Paul W. Johnson; granddaughter Angel and 9 brothers and one twin sister. 
  Survived by children: Althea Houpt and Paul W. Johnson, married to the
  former Linda Foust, both of Somerset, Grandchildren: Marcy Beggs, Brian
  Houpt, David Houpt, Tami Yutzy, Pamela Geary.  Eight great-grandchildren. 
  Sister of Lloyd Oakman of Willoughby, Ohio.  Also, survived by beloved
  poodle, Teddy.  Attended Somerset Church of the Nazarene.  Retired nurses
  aide at Somerset State Hospital.  Friends received from 7 to 9 Friday and
  2-4 and 7-9 Saturday at the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home, where
  services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, with the Rev. Donald Krestar
  officiating.  Interment, Husband Cemetery.
