    CARL F. JOHNSON
  
    Carl F. Johnson, 62, of Somerset RD 1, died Aug. 3, 1981.
    He was born June 28, 1919, in Markleton, son of the late Joseph and
  Josephine (Younkin) Johnson.
    He was preceded in death by wife, the former Ruty Y. Dunbar, who died
  July 21, 1981, and also by a brother and a sister.
    He is survived by these children:  Mrs. Glenda Carolson of Mount
  Pleasant; Carl R. of Confulence RD 3; Mrs. Norma Purbaugh, Somerset RD 5;
  Jay V., Pittsburgh; Jerry of Somerset RD 1; Rodney of Somerset; 12
  grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
    He was the brother of Mrs. Lucy Bellman of Chicago, Ill.; Ralph of
  Markelton; Mrs. Blain (Grace) Knopsnyder of Rockwood; Charles of Somerset
  RD 5.  He was a retiree of PennDOT.
    Friends were received at the Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home, where
  service were conducted with Rev. Walter Boring officiating.  Interment,
  Center Lutheran Church Cemetery.
