    Clyde M. Johnson, 72, of Garrett RD 1 died March 21, 1996, at Meyersdale
  Medical Center.  Born July 16, 1923, in Summit Township.  A son of the late
  Martin D. and Edith (Sanner) Johnson.  Also preceded in death by 8
  brothers.  Survived by his wife, the former Josephine M. Schrock; these
  children: Edwin C. Johnson and Ann M. Rosenberger, both of Garrett RD 1,
  and Sue E. Simmons, Berlin RD 4; six grandchildren: Valerie White, Courtney
  Johnson, Jillian Rosenberger and Brian, Justin and Cody Simmons, and
  great-grandson, Ryan White.  A brother of Mary Johnson, Garrett RD 1. U.S.
  Army veteran of World War II.  Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7
  to 9 p.m.  Saturday at the Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale.  Service at 2
  p.m. Sunday at Center Church, Garrett RD 1, with Pastor Shimer Darr
  officiating.  Interment, Center Church Cemetery.
