Born Sept. 8, 1908, in Somerset Township, daughter of Albert Henry and Lizzie Mae (Miller) Hemminger. Preceded in death by parents; sons, Daniel D. Johnson, and Fred A. Johnson; grandson, Terry Tipton; and brother, Harry Hemminger. Survived by husband, Clarence Ira Johnson, to whom she was married 71 years and these children: Mrs. Charles (Jean) Swindell of North Olmsted, Ohio; Clarence I. Johnson Jr., married to the former Lois Headly of Waynesburg, PA.; Mrs. Eugene (Dorothy) Barlow of Oberlin, Ohio; Mrs. James (Carley) Suter; Somerset; Mrs. Rena Tipton, Mantua, Ohio; Thomas C. Johnson, married to the former Shirley Goller, Kirtland, Ohio; Mrs. Thomas D. (Ruth) Barron, Somerset; Glenn E. Johnson, married to the former Jayne Callender, Bellvue, Col.; Mrs. Richard (Kay) Neri, Boswell; and Mrs. Dale (Linda) Griffith, Pittsburgh; 35 grandchildren and 44 great-grandchildren. Sister of Ralph N. Hemminger, Somerset. Member of Mount Calvary Lutheran Church. Friends received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., Friday, at Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home and from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Saturday, at Mount Calvary Lutheran Church, Lavansville. Rev.
