    ETHEL JOHNSON
  
    Ethel Mae Johnson, 71, Meyersdale RD 1, died Oct. 4, 1983, at Meyersdale
  Community Hospital.
    She was born Nov. 11, 1911, in Summit Township, a daughter of the late
  Joseph and Mary Bell (Brougher) Bittner.  She was also preceded in death by
  two sons.  She is survived by her husband, Milton C.; and these children:
  Dorothy, wife of Walter Ernst, Milton, C. Jr., and Ray, all of Meyersdale
  RD 1; Ada, wife of Richard Shuster, Marion, Ohio; eight grandchildren; and
  three great-grandchildren; also two sisters; Mrs. Charles Beal, Meyersdale,
  and Mrs. Hazel Arnold, Garrett RD 1.
    Friends were received at the Leckemby Funeral Home, where services were
  held with the Rev. William Phennicie officiating.  Interment, Lichty
  Cemetery.
