     JOHNSON
  
    Galen Ralph Johnson, 80, of Somerset died April 16, 2001 at his
  residence.  Born Nov. 20, 1920 in Johnstown.  Son of Ralph and Loretta
  (Kunkle) Johnson.  Preceded in death by parents and brother Clark
  Johnson.  Survived by: Wife the former Ruth Luella Yoder to whom he was
  married 60 years; children, Ms. Sandra L. Johnson of Somerset, and Jerry G.
  Johnson married to the former Deanne Low of Roswell, Ga.; six grandchildren,
  Robert and Bruce, Suter of Somerset, Mrs. Michael (Amy) Payne and Miss
  Heather Johnson of Woodstock, Ga., and Stephen G. Johnson of Atlanta, Ga.,
  and 7 great-grandchildren, Chad and Chris Wheeler, Megan Suter, Cole, Laura
  and Jen Suter, and Taylor K. Hagen.  Brother of Donald Johnson of Somerset;
  Mrs. Irene Gollehon of Sebring, Fla., Miss Ruth Johnson of Akron, Ohio;
  Clyde Johnson of Chambersburg, and Jay Johnson of Columbus, Ohio.  Members
  of Christ Casebeer Evangelical Lutheran Church.  A 1939 graduate of
  Somerset High School.  Also member of Lodge 258 F & AM. Retired truck
  driver for the former Cooper-Jarret Truck Lines, retiring in 1986 with 40
  years of service.  Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.
  Wednesday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, Somerset, where service will
  be held at 8 p.m. Wednesday, with the Rev. Kathleen A. Kuehl officiating. 
  Contributions may be made to Somerset "In Touch" Hospice, 1590 North Center
  Avenue, Somerset, Pa. 15501.  Masonic Service will be conducted at 7 p.m.
  Wednesday at the funeral home.
