Johnson, 71, of Rockwood RD 2, died July 13, 1993, at Somerset Hospital. Born June 8, 1922, in Milford Township, son of the late Homer and Annie (Brougher) Johnson. Preceded in death by sisters, Mary E. and Clara E. Johnson. Survived by his wife of 48 years, the former Violet M. Beck, and the following children: Mrs. Elvin (Shirley) Summers of James Creek; Fred R. Johnson of Bay Village, Ohio; Mrs. Andrew (Barbara) Bucior Jr. of Greensboro, N.C.; Glenn Jr. of Singapore; Homer Johnson of Rockwood RD 2, and Mrs. Ike (Jane) Sterner of Rockwood RD 3; also 9 grandchildren: David and Daniel Summers, Andrew III, Matthew, Sarah, Benjamin, and Samuel Bucior, Kayle "Ikie" and Elainna Sterner; four step-grandchildren: Melissa, Melanie, Scott and Jeffrey Lamparski. Member of Kingwood Church of God. Leader of the Milkshakers 4H Club for 25 years. First sales representative for Somerset County Holstein Club. A dairy farmer by occupation. Member of New Centerville and Rural Fire Department. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Wilbur D. Miller Funeral Home. Funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday in the Kingwood Church of God, James L. Monticue officiating. Interment, Fairview Cemetery. Viewing at the church one hour prior to time of service.
