Johnson, 77, of Rockwood RD 2, died Nov. 5, 1972, in Somerset Community Hospital. Born April 11, 1895, in Fayette County, he was a son of the late John and Emma (Gary) Johnson. He was preceded in death by his first wife, the former Annie Brougher, in 1945; also two daughters and seven brothers and sisters. Surviving are his wife, Daisy Hall McMillen Johnson; a son, Glenn of Rockwood RD 2; a step-daughter, Mrs. Mary Helen Laws of Mansfield, Ohio; six grandchildren and one great-grandson. He was a brother of Mrs. Hattie Ankeny, Rockwood; Wesley Johnson, Somerset; Alvin Johnson, Mill Run; Russell Johnson, Saginaw, Mich.; Mrs. Kathryn Lawson, San Bernardino, Calif.; and Mrs. LaVerne Younkin, of Hollidaysburg. He was a member of the new Centerville Rural and Volunteer Fire Department. Funeral service was held Tuesday afternoon in Wilbur D. Miller Funeral Home, Somerset, with Rev.
