    HOMER L. JOHNSON
  
    Homer L. Johnson, 77, of Rockwood RD 2, died Nov. 5, 1972, in Somerset
  Community Hospital.  Born April 11, 1895, in Fayette County, he was a son
  of the late John and Emma (Gary) Johnson.  He was preceded in death by his
  first wife, the former Annie Brougher, in 1945; also two daughters and
  seven brothers and sisters.
    Surviving are his wife, Daisy Hall McMillen Johnson; a son, Glenn of
  Rockwood RD 2; a step-daughter, Mrs. Mary Helen Laws of Mansfield, Ohio;
  six grandchildren and one great-grandson.  He was a brother of Mrs. Hattie
  Ankeny, Rockwood; Wesley Johnson, Somerset; Alvin Johnson, Mill Run;
  Russell Johnson, Saginaw, Mich.; Mrs. Kathryn Lawson, San Bernardino,
  Calif.; and Mrs. LaVerne Younkin, of Hollidaysburg.
    He was a member of the new Centerville Rural and Volunteer Fire
  Department.
    Funeral service was held Tuesday afternoon in Wilbur D. Miller Funeral
  Home, Somerset, with Rev. Gerald Deffenbaugh officiating.  Interment in
  Fairview Cemetery.
