ISAIAH C. JOHNSON

  N. E. Miller received a telegram Tuesday from Sebring, Florida, announcing the 
death at that place on Monday evening, of his brother-in-law, Rev. Isaiah C. 
Johnson, who was pastor of the Church of the Brethren in Meyersdale about 25 
years ago.  The telegram was sent by L. L. Lininger, son-in-law of the deceased.  
Mr. Johnson was a native of Fayette County.  His wife, who survives, is a sister 
of Mrs. Norman E. Miller.  He was about 82 years old and was well known 
throughout the Church of the Brethren denomination as a preacher.  He was pastor 
of churches in various states.  His last place of residence before locating in 
Florida about four years ago, was at Mechanicsburg, Cumberland County, Pa.
