Miller received a telegram Tuesday from Sebring, Florida, announcing the death at that place on Monday evening, of his brother-in-law, Rev. Isaiah C. Johnson, who was pastor of the Church of the Brethren in Meyersdale about 25 years ago. The telegram was sent by L. L. Lininger, son-in-law of the deceased. Mr. Johnson was a native of Fayette County. His wife, who survives, is a sister of Mrs. Norman E. Miller. He was about 82 years old and was well known throughout the Church of the Brethren denomination as a preacher. He was pastor of churches in various states. His last place of residence before locating in Florida about four years ago, was at Mechanicsburg, Cumberland County, Pa. Meyersdale Republican, September 11, 1930
