   J. Theodore Johnson, 68, Berlin, died April 22, 2007, at home. Born July 30, 1938, in
  Greensburg, son of Eugene C. and Dorothy (Thomas) Johnson. Preceded in death by parents
  and an infant brother, Thomas Aaron. Survived by his wife of 35 years, the former Linda
  Bauman; children, Lori Ann, married to Daniel Mock, Glencoe; Matthew Allen, at home;
  David E. and wife, Kim, Reading; John A. and wife, Joy, Reading; Mark Lee and wife,
  Stephanie, Haverford; and eight grand-children. A 1956 graduate of Berlin Brothersvalley
  High School, a 1960 graduate of Gettysburg College and a 1961 graduate of the Pittsburgh
  Institute of Mortuary Science. He was a partner of the former Johnson and Sons Funeral
  Home, Berlin and a former furniture retailer with Johnson and Son Ethan Allen Gallery.
  Past president of the Somerset County Funeral Directors Association. Member of the Berlin
  Brethren Church, Somerset County Historical Society, Berlin Area Historical Society,
  Berlin fire department, Sons of the American Legion 445, Berlin and Berlin Fife and Drum
  Corps. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Deaner Funeral
  Home, Berlin, where service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Mel Kirk and the
  Rev. Ralph Landis officiating. Interment, Berlin IOOF Cemetery. Memorial contributions
  may be given to the Berlin Historical Society, 400 Vine St., Berlin, PA 15530.
