  JOHNSON
  
  Mrs. Jennie Pauline Johnson, 66, Gettysburg RD 6, formerly of the Boswell
  area, died Sept. 7, 1978 at York Hospital.  Born Nov. 24, 1911 in
  Watsontown, she was a daughter of Harry L. and Clara (Messinger) Hate.  
  Preceded in death by parents.  She is survived my husband, George A. Sr.
  and these children:  Jack Hartfiel, Hollsopple RD 2; Mrs. Clara Reese, New
  Oxford; George A. Jr., Gettysburg; and eight grandchildren.  Former member
  of the Mt. Zion Lutheran Church, Jenner Township.  Friends received from
  7-9 p.m. Saturday and until time of service at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Joseph
  H. Hoffman Funeral Home, 227 Allegheny St., Boswell, the Rev. Jesse E. Wolf
  officiating.  Interment, Mt. Zion Cemetery.
