    Mary M. Johnson, 82, of Hooversville, died June 10, 1997, at Somerset
  Hospital.  Born Aug. 14, 1914, in Shanksville.  Daughter of Edmond and Elva
  (Hahn) Umberger.  Preceded in death by parents; husband Clifton; daughter
  Janet Johnson; infant son Clair, and sister Verda Tirko.  Survived by sons:
  Jerry, married to Florence, of Cleveland, Ohio; Jack, married to Dolores,
  Hooversville; daughters: Dixie Johnson, Cleveland, Ohio; Linda, married to
  Ray Ferrell, of Hooversville.  Grandchildren:  Cliff and Larry Johnson and
  Pam Shroyer.  Great-grandchild Max Johnson.  Sister Ada and Grace Kovack
  and Carrie Maluchnick, all of Hooversville.  Member of Hooversville Trinity
  Lutheran Church.  Family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Thursday (today)
  and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday at Deaner Funeral Home, Hooversville, where
  service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, with Rev. Gerald L. Myers
  officiating.  Interment, P.O.S. of A. Cemetery, Hooversville.  Memorial
  contributions may be given to Hooversville Trinity Lutheran Church,
  Hooversville, Pa. 15936.
