  JOHNSON
  
  Paul W. Johnson, 69, of Somerset RD 5, died April 5, 1983, in Somerset
  Community Hospital.  Born Sept. 13, 1913, in Altoona, a son of James B. and
  Carrie (Schlickerman) Johnson.  Preceded in death by a brother, Bill. 
  Survived by his wife, Bessie Oakman Johnson; a daughter, Althea Houpt, and
  a son, Paul W., both of Somerset RD 5; five grandchildren; and one
  great-grandchild; a brother, James Johnson, Altoona.  He was a veteran of
  World War II, having served in the U.S. Navy.  He was a former Somerset
  businessman.  Friends will be received after 7 p.m. today, Wednesday, in
  Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home, where service will be conducted Friday 2
  p.m., the Rev. Paul W. Douglass Sr.  Interment, Husband Cemetery.
