Johnson, 52, of Garrett RD 1, died suddenly April 22, 1979 at home. Born Sept. 27, 1926 in Summit Township, son of the late Martin and Edith (Sanner) Johnson. Survived by widow, the former Esther Dively and six sons: Richard Maust, Somerset RD 1; Randy C. and John G., Garrett RD 1; Ronald M., Falls Church, Va.; Daniel L. and Fred, both at home. Also survived by nine grandchildren. Brother of Oscar of Meyersdale RD 1; and James, Robert, Charles, Paul, Clyde and Miss Mary, all of Garrett RD 1. Preceded in death by two brothers. Owner and operator of Johnson's Boron Station in Meyersdale and a member of Center Lutheran Church. Friends will be received after 7 p.m. Monday at the Leckemby Funeral Home. On Wednesday, body will be taken to the Center Lutheran Church to lie in state from 1 to 2 p.m., when service will be held, the Rev. Richard Schlak, officiating. Interment, church cemetery.
