    RUTH Y. JOHNSON
  
    Ruth Y. Johnson, 53, of Somerset RD 1, died July 21, 1981, at Somerset
  Community Hospital.
    She was born Nov. 16, 1927, in Summit Township, Somerset County, daughter
  of the late Campbell and Elizabeth (Phillippi) Dunbar.  She was also
  preceded in death by three sisters.
    She is survived be husband, Carl; and these children: Mrs. Glenda
  Carlson, Mount Pleasant; Carl R., Confluence RD 3; Mrs. Norma Purbaugh,
  Somerset; Jay V., Pittsburgh; Jerry, Somerset RD 1; Rodney, Somerset; and
  Valerie, wife of Richard Logue, Somerset; also 12 grandchildren; one
  great-granddaughter.  She was the sister of: Paul Dunbar, Finleyville;
  James, Salisbury, Md.; Kenneth, Somerset; and Christine Sterling,
  Rockville, Md.
    Friends were received in the Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home, where
  services were conducted with the Rev. Walter Boering.  Interment, Center
  Lutheran Church Cemetery.
