    Sara Engle Johnson, 98 of Montverde, FL, formerly of Meyersdale, died 
  January 4, 2008 in Clermont, FL.
    She was born October 3, 1909 in Meyersdale, daughter of the late 
  Charles and Malinda Alice (Bittner) Engle. Also preceded in death by 
  her husband, Carl A. Johnson; son, Barry A. Johnson; three brothers: 
  Albert, Robert and Carl Engle; four sisters: Lottie Stevanus, Jennie 
  Lippert, Helen Herring and Marion Greer.
    She is survived by her daughter, Maralyn, wife of Robert Barry, 
  Montverde; and two grandsons: Ryan and Patrick Barry. Also survived by 
  numerous nieces and nephews, and a special nephew, Sonny Herring.
    A former employee of Citizens National Bank in Meyersdale, and was a 
  member of the Eastern Star.
    Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Price 
  Funeral Home Meyersdale, where service will be conducted at 11 a.m. 
  Thursday, with the Rev. David Bowman officiating. Interment Meyersdale 
  Area Union Cemetery.
