    JOHNSON
    
    William E. Johnson, 72, of Mount Pleasant R.D. 7 died July 15, 2000 in
  Frick Hospital, Mount Pleasant.  He was born on July 9, 1928 in Altoona a
  son of the later Gerald and Edith Harmon Johnson.  In addition to his
  parents he was predeceased by a sister, Miriam Beach.  He is survived by
  his wife Carol of Sacramento, Calif.; two daughters, Marcia Johnson of
  Oklahoma City, Okla. and Cindy Johnson of Mount Pleasant; three
  grandchildren, Andrew, Kristen and Elizabeth Johnson, and a sister Doreen
  Smith and her husband George of Martinsburg.  Mr. Johnson was a graduate of
  Altoona High School and he was employed as a bus driver for Lincoln Coach
  and Hilltop Buss Lines for many years and he later worked as a security
  guard for Doyle Security.  He was a member of Grace Brethren Church,
  Uniontown.  Friends were received Monday and will be received from 2 to 4
  and 7 to 9 p.m.  Tuesday in the Brooks Funeral Home, Inc. where funeral
  service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Rev. Darrell Taylor
  officiating.  Interment will follow in Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont.
