Born June 24, 1926, in Fruit Hill, Clearfield County, Pa. Son of the late William and Ardella (McNeal) Johnston. Survived by his wife of 48 years, Darlene (Hullihen) Johnston; two daughters, Janet Marie (Johnston) Good, married to James Good of Somerset, and Judy Darlene Johnston, Somerset; a son Robert Calvin Johnston married to Leigh Anne of Somerset; five grandchildren: Kelly Jo Good, Richard Good (married to Maria), Justin Good, Josh Foor and Kristen Johnston, and one great-grandson, Richard James Good Jr. Brother of Woodrow Johnston of Curwensville and Dorcas (Johnston) Miller of Ohio. In addition to his parents, Mrs. Johnston was preceded in death by three brothers: Fred, Bill and Gilbert; three sisters: Lillian Phoebus, Emma Poller, and Evelyn McGarvey, and grandson, Calvin William Good. Retired owner-operator of C.G. Johnston Contracting. Former employee of PBS Coals with 40 years service. Navy veteran of World War II where he was a Seabee. Member of Somerset Lodge 358, F. & A.M. Long-time attendee of Grace Brethren Church, Somerset. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and 1 to 6 p.m. Wednesday at the Wilbur D. Miller Funeral Home, Somerset.
