    CLYDE M. JOHNSTON
  
    Clyde M. Sr., 71, Rockwood, formerly of Jenner Township, died May 29,
  1980, at Somerset Community Hospital.
    He was born Aug. 17, 1908, in Jenner Township, a son of Eliphas and Mary
  Ann (Wadsworth) Johnston.  He was preceded in death by parents; son, John;
  infant daughter; seven brothers; and two sisters.
    He is survived by widow, former Sara K. Johnson, and these children:
  William, Shanksville; Mrs. Shelby Harmon, Stoystown RD 3; David R.,
  Stoystown; George E. and Clyde H. [sic] Jr., both of Berlin; Mrs. Donna Pyle and
  Mrs. Geraldine Hay, both of Friedens RD 2; Donald M., Cairnbrook; Mrs. Helen
  Kobal, Rockwood; and Mrs. Alice Bittenger, Salisbury.
    He was the brother of Charles and Alfred, both of Jenners; Albert,
  Boswell; and Robert, Johnstown.  He was a member of Jenner Rod & Gun Club.
    Friends were received at Hoffman Funeral Home, 409 Main St., Boswell,
  where services were held with the Rev. Chauncey J. Ickes.  Interment,
  Jenner Crossroads Cemetery.
