Preceded in death by father; husband, Charles T., died March 10, 1982; son, Ralph, died July 31, 1980; and brother, Alvin. Survived by mother, Boswell RD 1; Patricia, at home Mary wife of Jack Wagner, Central City RD 1; Richard, married to former Doreen Colbert, Salem, Ohio; Doris, wife of Albert Lape, Jerome; Jennie, wife of Robert Swarner, Somerset; Janet, wife of Bruce Baker, Boswell; Linda, wife of James Shepley, Stoystown RD 1; Larry, married to former Patricia Haines, Jenners; also 23 grandchildren, including James Johnston, at home; and four great-grandchildren. Sister of: Blanche, wife of Albert Johnston, Boswell; Theodore "Bud", Lakeland, Fla.; Eugene, Baltimore, Md.; Dorothy, wife of Donald Barnett, Boswell; Ruby, wife of Blain Shaulis, Jerome; also several brothers and sisters-in-law. Friends received 7-9 p.m. Thursday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday at Hoffman Funeral Home, Main Street, Boswell, where service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, the Rev. Chauncey J. Ickes.
