    FRANKLIN JOHNSTON
  
    Franklin Leroy Johnston, 44, of 503 Oakland Drive died July 25 at Garrett
  County Memorial Hospital.
    Born in Swanton, October 14, 1931, he was the son of Franklin B. Johnston
  and the late Midred (Comp) Johnston.
    He owned and operated Frank's Taxi Service, Oakland.
    Surviving besides his father, are his widow, Clara (Beeghly) Johnston,
  three daughters, Mrs. Trevaline Bray, Mt. Lake Park; Mildred Johnston,
  Robin Johnston, both at home, and one sister, Mrs. Shirley Baker,
  Grantsville.
    Funeral services were held July 27 at the John O. Durst Funeral Home with
  Rev. Donald Matthews officiating.  Interment followed in Garrett County
  Memorial Gardens.
