Johnston of Melbourne, Fla., died May 11, 2001 at Holmes Regional Medical Center. Retired from electrical construction. Born Jan. 5, 1920 in Big Run, Pa., he was an Army Veteran of World War II. A member of Masonic Lodge 574 Local 126 I.B.E.W., and a member of Palmdale Presbyterian Church. He is survived by his wife Louise Kregar Johnson and sons John Johnston of Beaver, Jeffrey Johnston of Melbourne and granddaughter Sydney Rae Johnston. No calling hours are scheduled. Florida Memorial Gardens is in charge of arrangements. Memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. May 23 at Palmdale Presbyterian Church.
