Mrs. Jolliffe was born at Selbysport, Md., January 14, 1862, and was a daughter of the late Joseph and Cynthia Frasee Lint. Her husband, James Jolliffe, preceded her in death December 12, 1923. Surviving in addition to Mrs. Shipley are the following children: Mrs. Cecil Thomas, Connellsville; Amos M. Jolliffe, Brockway. Two sisters, Mrs. Sadie Piot, Akron, O.,; Mrs. H. L. Shoemaker, Somerfield; two brothers, Calvin Lint, Selbysport; Joseph Lint, Canton, Ohio; six grandchildren and one great- grandchild, also survive. Funeral services were conducted Wednesday afternoon at the home of a son-in- law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Thomas, in Connellsville, with additional rites at the Markleysburg Brethren Church in charge of Rev. Howard W. Jamison, pastor of the Central Methodist Church. Meyersdale Republican, April 16, 1942
