ELIZABETH GERTRUDE JONES

  Miss Elizabeth Gertrude Jones died in the Somerset State Hospital at 4:00 a.m. 
on Friday, May 23rd, of cardiac decomposition.  She was born in Elk Lick 
Township on April 16, 1919, daughter of Mrs. Mary E. (Beal) Jones, and the late 
Herbert Jones, and was 28 years, 1 month and 7 days old at her passing.
  In addition to her mother, she is survived by one sister, Leona, wife of 
Dayton Weigle of Listie, and one brother, Loal Jones, at home.  Funeral services 
were conducted at the home on Route 1, Salisbury, at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, May 
25th, Rev. Floyd Gotjen, pastor of the Salisbury Methodist Church, officiating.  
Interment in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in charge of Mortician Stanley M. Thomas.
