JAMES JONES

Garrett, Pa.

  James Jones, aged 67, died Saturday morning in Memorial Hospital, Johnstown, 
after being a patient there since Christmas Day.  He was in poor health for a 
number of years.  The Jones family lived here years ago, then moved to Boswell, 
and it was only several months ago that they moved back to Garrett.
  Mr. Jones was born in Wales, February 28, 1874, and migrated to the United 
States when a young man.  He married Blanche Deeter of Berlin, who passed away 
about a year ago.  Two daughters, Helen and Jane, survive, both living at home.
  Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the Jones' apartment on Jackson 
Street.  Interment was in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery at Berlin.
