    LEE VIRGIL JONES
  
    Lee Virgil Jones, 81, of Meyersdale, died Feb. 27, 1982, in Meyersdale
  Community Hospital.
    He was born Oct. 20, 1900, in Meyersdale, son of the late William and
  Mary (Lindeman) Jones.
    He is survived by his wife, the former Orpha Mae (Schrader) Jones, and
  these children: Robert E., and William C., both of Garden City, Mich.; Mrs.
  Eleanor M. Hayter, Livonia, Mich.; Mrs. Betty J. Kiem, Irwin; Mrs. Grace E.
  Shockey, Highland, Mich.; Mrs. Orpha L. Baer, Meyersdale; and Mrs. Shirley
  A. Keller, New Baltimore; 17 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
    He was a member of the Amity United Church of Christ; a retired coal
  miner, a member of the UMWA and of the Moose Lodge No. 76.
    Friends were received at the Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale, where
  services were conducted with the Rev. Lloyd Sechriest officiating. 
  Interment, Union Cemetery.
